The Battle of the Stump (6/2 - 6/4)
This was the final battle of the gathering, where the remainder of the town struggled to destroy the Dark Heart which was driving nature itself to become violent. I'm fuzzy on any other details, so, if anyone else can give me more information for this particular section, it would be apprechiated.
A group gathers to destroy the dark heart...
Striking poses and summoning their most confused looks.
And off they go.
Huzzah! We are all going to die!
Moving slowly to the path that leads to the dark heart.
The party closes on the battlefield...
Trying to hold a line against the walking foliage.
Standing back to recover against a wave of greenery.
The battle continues, but the line begins to fall apart.
A number of townsfolk are in trouble here, as they are swarmed
by the kizmet.
After the battle, this was the entirety of the populace that
escaped.
