Welcome to Conundrum
of Xebec's Demise

"Pox here. How goes? Eh. I'm very
tired as I'm writing this, and I'm only writing it because me lazy friend Kite has never
gotten around to writing it himself. Bah. I'll have a word with him later.
But, er, I am here to speak of the nature of the Conundrum, a group which I am glad
to call myself a part of.
"So, you're thinking, 'what's with Conundrum', and, 'what's the point'? Well, the point was, originally, safety in numbers, you dig? But, then, of course, peoples started dying, and the whole town chaotic. The worms were having their way, you know? But I digress. The point of Conundrum, now, at least as I see it, is to become sort of a foci point of information. Y'know? We want to learn things. You know that old saying. Knowledge is power. Power is safety. Safety is not unlike a good, warm sandwich on a cold winter's night, served with a jug of warm cider and maybe some roasted almonds and...
"I was carrying on again, wasn't I? Sorry 'bout that.
"The point is, people of Xebec's Demise, the Conundrum wants to do the town a great service, by being a nexus... or is it nexii? Er, a point where people can go to get information that they may be needing. And, in addition to this, maybe we can help out when the town gets thick with the newts, eh? Well, whatever.
"And all this? This is just an idea, you know? Maybe, ultimately, this isn't what Conundrum will be. Who knows? Meharjo knows things, but I killed him, so he's not speaking to me.
"I've been walking for a very long time, and I need some sleep. So, I'll break this down. Conundrum is whatever it's members perceive it to be. I perceive it to be a nexii, or nexus or whatever. I can't speak for the rest of us. But what I can say is that Conundrum is here to stay. Hope ya don't mind."

"Ok, I am not lazy, I am just very busy.
"Being 'leader' for lack of a better title keeps me so. Now what I see us to be is also a focal point to help Xebec's Demise survive. I believe we all need to stop fighting each other and grow as one. I am willing to share any knowledge we aquire and in return I would only ask the same. Results on rituals and alchemical experiments are always helpful...
"Also, we are always willing to help with any venture you may come across or need help with. Weither it be only collecting some leaves in the forest or delving into a smelly kobold infested cave. Also, when Conundrum was formed I had hoped we would be able to learn and become useful in the arts of codebreaking, puzzle solving, riddles and the likes. Who knows maybe in time we shall... I am still willing to learn.
